You know how some people can just suck the life out of you, while others give off a positive vibe? Sometimes I walk into a room and feel negativity in the air and it just doesn’t feel right staying in that room. People who are endlessly negative make you feel tense and on the edge. You literally can’t wait to get wait to get away from them whereas people who have positive energy make you feel safe, relaxed and you always feel better being around them because your own energy and optimism increases.
When your own energy is high you feel confident and positive. So having good vibes makes your life better, you inspire people around you. In contrast, you can repel people by giving of negative vibes such as tension, anxiety or anger. If you find yourself thinking negative thoughts just breathe in;
- Intentionally focus on positive things happening in your life. Don’t be a victim of “Poor me! Everyone’s against me! Nobody appreciates me!” mentality. Instead, be grateful for the good things you have and make being happy a priority. Get the idea? You control your energy, make it a habit and everything will fall in place.
- Start by being generous with your smile, compliments and overall mood. When you actively engage with the people around you and genuinely caring about what they say, you’ll make the people feel good.
