The girl with messy hair| Spoken Word

do not fret my child

even when your hair shrinks

Under the blue sky on a distant beach

Gracefully pull out the loose braid

it can no longer make it out alone

And when people ask when you did your hair,

do not sigh. Smile

Cause yesterday is in the past

And if you can’t find your booby pins

Put on an attitude that will let people spot you in a crowd.

– Love always,

    Messy hair god.

Over To You …

I feel I should apologize for my lousy attempt of spoken word but I won’t, cos it won’t be genuine. I will be posting more poetry and spoken word till I get good at it 😞

Leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Thank you for reading.

Xoxo,

          Patience 🙂
