Yes it’s frustrating. You don’t have a job and you need to pay bills or get yourself the new Kylie’s Lip kit collection. Slow down with the whining though; because it doesn’t help but there is always something you can do to improve your chances of getting hired when you take these steps into consideration:
Say No to Netflix and Chill
Binge watching movies and TV series all day long hoping to be called for a job interview is ridiculous
Sitting at home avoiding the outside world only hinders you from meeting people who you’d network with. Accept invitations to events and interact with people.
Get constructive and use your skill to get experience – apprentice with a photographer – do not sit and wait, work will only find you when you are on the move.
Never take any interview for granted. You need to research; there really is no shortcut. They may seem simple now, but you should always prepare for them.
