If you are frequent guest on my blog then you should know giving back to the society is something dear to me. I believe I am what I am because of who we all are, so when I came across a recent post by Eventbrite I felt the urge to create awareness and inspire others to get involved in giving back.
Common wisdom is that community events can give charity organizations captive audience thus planning accessible events is crucial to get willing people to volunteer their time or donate money. For those who are not familiar with Eventbrite, it’s the largest self-service ticketing platform in the world that helps people find and plan events.
The Universe is full of heart wrenching situations, scroll through social media and you see there’s a tragedy or trauma that is way bigger than your pain for not being able to afford a McDonald happy meal. Even though I’m frequently short of funds to keep up with my desire to help others, I still try to get involved with causes that are dear to me some of which are:-
I came to know about the thirst project through social media and since then I’ve been trying to be part of it by making little contributions to help them provide safe drinking water for communities.
I was drawn to this organizations because of their need to create a world where each individual has access to the resources they need to live happy and healthy lives.
This organizations helps street children in Kenya. I wish my wallet was fat enough to donate much but I hope the little I give can impact positive changes in these children lives.
Fundraising Event I’ve Attended
I attended this back in 2015 alongside so many other family members in hopes to touch many children’s heart lives, literally!
I would also like to get involved with
Charity Water whose aim is to bring clean and safe water to people in developing countries.
The Hope Effect which I came to know about through social media. A dedicated team of passionate individuals motivated to find and implement new family based solutions for orphan care around the world.
Unicef I can’t begin to imagine how it feels coming to this Universe and having a rough start in life. Knowing that a child out there is going through hardship, unmistakable pain at a young age is heartbreaking.
Thus, giving hope to young kids to the benefit of a better world is on my bucket list.
